✅ Eligibility Criteria for UPTU Counselling 2025

1. For B.Tech: Must have qualified JEE Main 2025 and passed Class 12 with PCM.

2. For B.Arch: NATA 2025 qualified and passed 10+2 with Maths.

3. For MBA/MCA: Graduation with minimum 50% marks; CUET PG score may be considered.

4. Domicile Requirements: Candidates from UP or passed qualifying exam from UP can claim Home State Quota.

 

 

📝 Step-by-Step UPTU (UPCET) Counselling Process 2025

1. Online Registration

Visit https://uptac.admissions.nic.in

Click on “New Candidate Registration”

Enter JEE Main / NATA / CUET Roll No., DOB, and other details

Create a password and submit

2. Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of:

Class 10 & 12 mark sheets

Caste certificate (if applicable)

Domicile certificate (if claiming UP quota)

Income certificate for fee concession (if applicable)

JEE Main / NATA / CUET scorecard

 

3. Document Verification

Uploaded documents will be verified by authorities online

Status will be updated in candidate login

If any document is invalid, it must be re-uploaded quickly

4. Choice Filling & Locking

Candidates can select their preferred colleges & branches

Choices should be carefully arranged in order of preference

Once satisfied, lock the choices within the deadline

5. Seat Allotment

Based on merit, category, and preference, seat will be allotted

Allotment result will be published on candidate dashboard

6. Seat Acceptance & Fee Payment

If satisfied, pay the seat confirmation fee (₹20,000 for Gen/OBC; ₹12,000 for SC/ST)

Select “Freeze” to accept the seat OR “Float” to participate in the next round

7. Reporting to College

After final allotment, download the Admission Letter

Report to the allotted institute with original documents

Complete admission formalities and submit balance fees
