JoSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counselling is conducted by Central Goverment of India for allotment of seats in IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. Actually student have to understand first that why JEE MAINs Exam is Conducted in India. For Choice filling We have to analyze what Student really wants.
1.) For Student Engineering branch really matters a lot or Best NIT, IIIT of GFTI. ( Like all student 90% + wants CS )
2.) For some student best NIT, IIIT or GFTI matters.
3.) For some students best NIT/IIIT/GFTI matter either he/she can even go for 5 years integrated program B.Tech+M.Tech.
4.) Some students have good JEE Rank but for CS he/she doesn’t want to go for North East NIT.
At the end for doing JEE MAIN Counselling we have to interact with student then only we can able to make blueprint of choice filling. For each student we have to give 6 hours for making choice filling blueprint. So come early don’t waste time beacuse time matters in JEE MAIN Counselling for JoSAA & CSAB.

JoSAA Choice filling is the main part of JoSAA Counselling. If any student do mistake in Choice filling then student has to suffer for capital punishment because once choice lock it cann’t be change upto 6 round of JoSAA Counselling.
3.) Seat Allotment Rounds
Multiple rounds of allotment are conducted.
Candidates get seats based on their rank, category, and choices filled.
4.) Seat Acceptance & Seat Acceptance Fees Payment
a.) Freeze: Accept the seat, don’t want further rounds.
b.) Float: Want to upgrade to a better choice in same institute.
c.) Slide: Want upgrade in another round but only in same institute.
5.) Document Verification
In document verification student has to upload 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, Category certificate ( if applicable ) and Medical Certificate.
6. ) Reporting
After the final allotment, report physically to the allotted college. With all original documents alongwith allotment letter & seat acceptance fees recepit.
